Product Review Weekly Wrap-Up March 28 - April 3

I have thoroughly enjoyed writing product reviews.  As I mentioned in a previous post, it allows me to indulge in my shopping desires as well as entertain my writing whims.  I thought that I would share my review experience, week-by-week, by providing a recap of the products that I have reviewed.  This is not a list of all of the products that have arrived this week, as many still need to be tested, just the ones that I made time to review.

I am providing links to my reviews.  Once on the review page, you will find a link to the product page in the far right corner.

Want to know about becoming a product reviewer?  I have detailed my experiences in this post.

The Retail Value of the items I wrote reviews for this week was $457.77
My out-of-pocket cost for these items was $23.43

March 28th
Google Cardboard - I cannot get enough of these.  I have been gifting them, and opening folks up to a whole new world.

Bamboo Pillow - Pillows.  Can you ever have enough in the house?  Me - nope!

Metal RFID Blocking Wallet and Key Organizer - Such a disappointment of my own doing.  I thought the key holder was going to be two-sided, when the description clearly stated it would not.  Still, not a bad gift to have on hand.

Stainless Steel Bent Straws by Utopia Kitchen - My husband has been washing and reusing straws since... well... before straws were meant to be reused.  I guess it is a sign of what a good product ikea makes, as the old straws even made it through a dishwasher cycle or two.  I feel much better about reusing straws that were meant to be reused.  This is not a product I would leave with a bunch of goofy teenagers, as it is an eye poke or mouth gouge waiting to happen.

D-Bird Professional Microphone - If I am going to take this reviewing business seriously, I am going to have to up my video game.  It was time to invest in a microphone for my computer.

Guys Realm Beard Comb - Beards are trendy, but I have a group of friends (multi-generational) that have been ahead of the trend curve for decades.  Wonder who I will gift this one to??

Stalion Galaxy Tab Cable - My cable broke over Christmas Vacation, two days before we were set to depart, and just as my battery had drained.  I spent $10 to have a new one sent to our home.  It kills me to think of how much I could have saved, had I know about reviewing then.  I now have this one as my back up.

Baby Proofing Corner Guards - Friends and family are sprouting new family members every few months, or so it seems.  These will never go to waste in our family.

And, rounding out the day - Phone cases,Screen Protectors, and Accessories!
Clear iPhone 6 Case
Tudia Galaxy S7 Case
Caseguru Crystal Clear for Galaxy S7
IQ Shield for Galaxy S7 - Wet screen protector application - very interesting approach.  I like it.
iVoler Air Vent Mount - Mobile device accessories never get old.  I have a stockpile, and I will take all that I can get!

March 30th
Mini Clip-On Microphone - Seeing as I am becoming professional with my video production, it seemed ideal to add a small microphone so that I could record sound clips on the go.

Photo Booth Props - We had our first family event photo booth this past October.  I made all of the props, and tailored them to match the theme of our event.  That was a project!  I like having a universal set that I can weave a few event-specific pieces into.

Vitamin C Serum - I have refused to admit that I am aging.  Then I put on makeup for the first time in years and oh boy!  Time to get serious about slowing the visibility of this process down.

Cycle Torch Rechargeable Bike Lights - Apparently these retail in upwards of $60 in local retail shops.  We gave this to a cycling enthusiast and he was astounded that they were so affordable on Amazon.

Full Voyage RFID Blocking Wallet - My husband and brother-in-law have been the target of ID theft, more than once.  ANYTHING that helps deter this is worth trying.

And, rounding out the day - Phone cases,Screen Protectors, and Accessories!

April 1st
CPAP/BIPAP Hose - Another item that I paid full price to replace, pre-review time.  I am now set for a good 12 months.

Baby Car Sunshades - Every car in our extended family needs these.  Three cars down, a dozen or so to go.

Green Silicone Wedding Band - We are quite fond of these.  Two klutzy people, a dozen ways to lose or break a ring, and now a good solution that will not break the bank.  The real rings are locked away safely, and we change out the silicone bands to match our attire.

Matcha Green Tea Powder - I have a stockpile, and I will never have enough.

And, rounding out the day - Phone cases,Screen Protectors, and Accessories!
Galaxy S5 Case
Yootech Galaxy S7 Clear Case
Pink Case for Galaxy S7 Edge
iPhone 6 Wallet Case by Snugg
Omoton Tempered Glass for iPhone 4  - This one gets a fancy video. :)
iLLumiShield Screen Protector for Galaxy S7
Sports Armband Case - I am stockpiling these as well.  Cleaning the house, running errands, lounging on the patio (just about anything other than exercising basically), these are great accessories.  As long as I can review them, I take advantage.

April 3rd
Set of LED Adjustable Flashlights - We were under the impression that we had a sufficient supply of flashlights around the house and in our vehicles.  Then these fancy little LED products began to pop up and, apparently, we now have to swap all flashlights for these.  (My husband is employed by a LED manufacturer.  You have no idea how "urgent" this is!)

Google Cardboard Viewer - Yup, two in one week.  Keep 'em coming!

Doctor Who Mouse Pad - I am a fan of the show (Whovian) who has managed to resist temptation for quite sometime.  Last spring I picked up a book at my local Con event, now I have this mouse pad, and there she goes...

Canvas Pencil Bag - I have the sharpener, the bag, but not the pencils - yet.

And, rounding out the day - Phone cases,Screen Protectors, and Accessories!
Clear Case for iPhone 6
Sports Armband Case for iPods
